screen Printing

Screen Printing is a traditional printing method in which ink is transferred through a mesh-based stencil direct onto the garment.

We have highly experienced and knowledgeable operatives performing to retail quality standards using various different techniques.

Some of the techniques we offer are:

• Screen printing – Plastisol or waterbase ink.
• Process prints – This type of printing is used for full colour images such as photographs.
• Jumbo all over prints – Using special machinery & oversized screens we are able to create a print covering the whole garment.
• Glitter bling – A waterbased process leaving a smooth residue free glitter finish.
• Expantex – This process is as screen printing but with a raising agent added to give the design a 3D finish.
• Discharge print – This process uses a special ink which bleaches the fabric to leave a softer smoother finish but is only available on certain garments.
• Soft hand base – This is an additive added to plastisol ink leaving the print feeling softer.
• Gloss – screen print with a gloss finish to give the print a shiny look.
• Polyester print – Unlike most printing companies we are able to use a special ink allowing us to screen print directly onto 100% polyester garments.

Direct to screen

In order to create exceptional print quality we have heavily invested in new direct to screen machinery.
This machinery eliminates the old process of having to use film in the make up of screens, resulting in greater precision of images.
This new process along with our years of experience means we can produce screen prints with exceptional higher quality in comparison to many of the other uk Printers who still use the old film system.
